MEMBERS ABSENT: Nancy Christiansen, David Miles, John Nist, Richard Stewart

HOMEOWNERS PRESENT: None

The meeting was called to order by Rob Marks on Tuesday, 7:00pm at the home of Ray Metz. Written agenda is not available.

[MSP] Meeting minutes of September 2004 approved, as is.

OLD BUSINESS

Milfoil rake- $272 bill for rake, $762.30 bid from Monty for milfoil removal. We still need a successful demonstration of the rake before we pay for rake and labor.

Web bill- The bill for our current website is approx. $11.00/month. If we want a locked message board area, it will cost about $20/month. There is the possibility of getting a free locked area on Ray’s webpage. Email to board members only remains a way to discuss issues without the lack of privacy of a public website message board.

Summer party- Rained out. There is the possibility of trying again in June, before school gets out. People have not embarked on their vacations and potential for nice weather exists.

Work party- We have a list of projects. Credit for doing work outside of the work party was discussed. General consensus is that it is too difficult and cumbersome to verify what would qualify for getting this credit, outside of the work party. It was reinforced that the process for getting a $25 rebate on dues/work party is that an owner or representative must attend, sign in and contribute to the work party. The volunteers who do phoning reminders will also get the rebate.

NEW BUSINESS

Backflow prevention test: A company named “ABAT” (sp?) does this test for $40. It needs to be done by 10/10/04.

North lake: The pump needs to be turned off.

Dues increase: It was decided to bring the subject up at the Annual meeting in March 2005. If we continue to need maintenance items such as the lawn renovation done on the North lake, we may need a dues increase in the near future.

Budget: There was a $28.00 overdraft charge. $10,000 was transferred from Savings.

We have approx. $4,000 left to pay for landscaping, this year and potentially $2,000 to pay on lake treatments.
