Called to Order at 7:00

Discussion about Robert’s Rules of Order

MOTION: Split the meetings as
     1- Homeowners comment first (2 minutes limit for each homeowner to make their comments without interruption)
     2- Approve minutes from last meeting
     3- Treasurer’s Report
     3- Old business. (With each board member having a limit of 2 minutes to make their comments without interruption.)
     4- New business. (as above)

Homeowner Comments:

Don Willams suggested that we purchase and display signs saying “Please do not feed the geese”.

MOTION: purchase and display signs saying “Please do not feed the geese.” Not to exceed $100 expense.  John Dickey will purchase.

Fred Farris, 10531 32nd Dr SE.  Large Hemlock in common area is a hazard to his house, details and arborist report emailed.  Request that the board remove the hazard.

Board to assess whether the tree is in common area.  Board will notify Fred if they feel it’s not in the common area.  No removal or motion is planned at this time.  Want assessment first.

Treasurer’s Report:

Checkbook is balanced to the penny.

Old Business:

New Insurance vendor has been selected and paid.  General Liability + Directors and Officers coverage.

MOTION: Credit Rob Marks $25 for work party attendance because he repaired an irrigation pipe a few days before the work part.  Also let Rob know that any credits or expenditures should be approved beforehand and damages to HOA properties should be reported immediately.

EarthWorks is doing a great job with the landscaping contract.

MOTION: Ask EarthWorks to provide a 3 year contract at no higher than our current rate.  If they can provide that contract, we should sign it.

Lake Report: Skipped one lake treatment to save money.  Bryozoan found in our lake, sign of clean water.

Work Party scheduled Saturday October 6th.

Discussion about amending the CCRs.

No homeowner contractors
homeowners need approval by board for common property work.

MOTION: Approve up to $200 expense for lawyer’s opinion on how to change CCRs with 75% approval of instrument.
