Regular monthly Meeting of Directors

Called to Order at 7:03

MOTION: Approve May Minutes (Correct name to Dickey)
Made by Ray M, Ray D seconded, PASSED

Secretary:
Ray Metz to create a list of board members, phone numbers, and email addresses and bring copies to August board meeting.

Treasurer’s Report:
All 2007 Dues have been collected.
Costica is finding a new insurance provider for the association.  He has talked with an insurance company that may be able to do it and will follow up to switch coverage.

Architecture Committee Report:
A shed and a cedar roof has been approved.
Pam will keep a log of the approvals.
Suggestion to create read only message board area to post approvals with street number only
Neighborhood walkthrough has not happened yet, but we plan to do it.
The committee has authorization to send a letter without full board approval.  Even if the member is not breaking the bylaws, the committee may send a letter stating what they see on the property and suggest that the neighborhood would look nicer if it were cleaned up or removed.
Pam will call county about shrubs growing over sidewalks.

The work party was a success with 20 members attending
Seven loads were taken to the dump

Discussion about postings on mailboxes.
Not allowed by the post office
Board will continue removing signs on mailboxes that were not approved.

MOTION Compensate Rob Marks for the work party, contingent on Rob teaching the board on the water maintenance process and giving the board the part he keeps and he gives board maintenance committee responsibility for the process.
Pam Made, Ray M seconded.  3 in favor, 5 opposed, FAILED

CC&R and by-laws review for consideration to update.
Pam Smith talked to an attorney.  She asked for pricing.
Pam Smith, John Nist,  and Jeff Lind  to meet offline about changing by-laws and present findings to board in August.

No meeting in July and December.

Garage sale next weekend.

Removing Geese on lakes.
Idea to string line across lake about 7 feet high in a big X.
Idea to let 5 feet of grass grow in buffer zone around lake.
