Hilton Lake Homeowner’s Association Meeting

Present: Scott Cecile, Jeff Lind, Ray Delger, John Nist, Dave Miles, Costica Gheorghiu, Frances Collinwood

What was the result of the inquiry to the lawyer?  Dave Miles read the letter from the lawyer.

Discussion from the floor.

Discussion about trees.  Dave Miles is heading the team to get rid of diseased or dead trees.

Dave will respond via email to Norm Totey about his trees.  It was noted that the by-laws do not allow for the arbitrary removal of trees.  Dave will consult an arborist/tree cutter about removal of trees.

Dave Miles-Motion to have work party Dec. 2 and put notice on internet and mailboxes and telephone notification.  Costica seconded.

Vote was unanimous.

Costica-The last application for this year was done on the lake.

November is the ideal time to put fish in the lake.  We have already spent money on fish this year but it is a good thing to do for January.  Will discuss putting in fish at January meeting.

Frances-We should recognize the petition to remove John Nist as rather a petition to hold a vote for the removal of John Nist as suggested by the lawyer.  Motion to have a meeting on December 5 to remove John Nist from the board.  Seconded by Scott Cecile.

Vote was unanimous.

The notice to members must be mailed out two weeks prior to the meeting and should include the following information:

Meeting at 7:00

Vote at 7:15

Tally at 7:30

Proxy votes must be sent in the mail.

Jeff Lind- Motion to make Scott treasurer. Frances seconded,
